Our client - One of the leading Defense companies is currently seaking Planning Monitoring and Control Professional to join their team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Line Management of Planning Reporting and Governance teams
- Manage the L3 Planning Reporting Process
- Manage the monthly Planning Period End processes ensuring plan quality checks are completed and issues resolved to ensure plan copies are made in support of the period end process
- Represent planning team at senior management and customer facing reviews to present data from Planning Reports
- Develop Planning Reports as programmes evolve through the lifecycle
- Management of the Support and Supervision Plans
- Work with Project Controls to ensure booking codes are available as required and Cost forecasts are maintained in the Current Plan
- Support IBRs and other internal / external audits and manage completion of resulting actions
- Work collaborative with other Planning managers / teams to Support the development of major Planning Scenarios and Capacity Plans
- Work with the Head of Level 3 Planning and Planning Director to manage the CAM account for BCBH
Skills:
- Experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Project Management (tools, techniques, practices) and basic knowledge of other functions such as Commercial & Finance.
- Able to resolve & guide others in solving complex project-related issues, but the normal is to follow established procedures.
- Extensive understanding of the Business environment for own project and team.
- Recognised as an experienced Project Management practitioner.
- Has PM&C experience demonstrated in a professional role within a business or project/ programme / portfolio
- Has extensive knowledge of a range of PM&C methodologies and toolsets.
- Has extensive knowledge of the PM career framework including with Professional institutions.
